Diversity, Equity, Access, and Inclusion during a Global Health Crisis and Beyond

We know that crisis and disruption often lead to creativity and innovation. This is a time when choruses are being forced to rethink how they engage singers, audiences, and communities. Kumea Shorter-Gooden will lead a session that poses some important questions: What does the pandemic teach us about diversity, equity, access and inclusion? What are the implications for our visions and missions? What, if any, is our role in responding to the pandemic and the inequities it has laid bare? Together, we’ll explore the opportunities that we now have to better center DEAI in our work.
